Aim of IPC
To promote the development of skills and the creativity of all members.
The club’s set objectives are as follows:
1. For each club member to produce a of body of photographic work during every 12-month cycle. The intention being to present this at the annual Ignite photographic exhibition.
2. To place community above competition
3. To offer members the opportunity to challenge and grow themselves through our Circle of Mastery programme
Meeting Format
IGNITE PHOTOGRAPHIC CLUB is an online only club and meetings will be conducted via online platforms such as Zoom, Teams, Skype etc
Every Second Monday of the month (excl Dec)
Personal Development Programme
Internal personal and creative work
Assignment Feedback
Review of images from Masterclass assignment
Every Third Monday of the month (excl Dec) alternates between:
Masterclass Lecture with assignments
Presentation on photography related subjects
Image Showcase
Review of ANY images sent in for feedback
Image Review Process
Members will be able to enter images via Photovault for peer evaluation for each feedback session
From time to time, a guest evaluator may be asked to review images in a feedback session
Education
To promote the development of skills and the creativity of all members.
We will be mainly focused on creative development of self, and of photographic work, in order to identify a creative message to be explored in your personal Body of Work
CIRCLE OF MASTERY
IGNITE PHOTOGRAPHIC CLUB will not differentiate between professional and enthusiast photographers.
There will be no member ranking system within the club. Instead, we offer you the opportunity to participate in an accreditation challenge through our Circle of Mastery.
